Paddy Collins & Pia Gambardella have been making sound art, artist books, workshops, performance and installation under the name brownsierra for 11 years. Developing an approach to modify, adapt and transform things that already exist through a process of finding and reusing discarded and disused materials, adapting often changing original functions to take on a new life or existence. Collins and Gambardella are co editors of Noisegate sound art journal, run National Express Recordings, and International Litter Exchange.
